Anyone, regardless of disability, age and desire music, have access to quality arts learning in a cultural institution in the heart of the city, like everyone else.

TASKS OF THE ASSOCIATION

The statutory purpose of MESH is unchanged since its creation in 1984 by Magali Viallefond: the association aims to study, promote and develop the cultural integration of persons with disabilities, and work to promote their access artistic practices and in particular the practice of music.

An expert in music education in editing and adapted music projects and disability, the association is central resource for all professionals who are committed to access for disabled people (whatever their age and disability) to musical practices including through their integration into places of learning and practice of music called ordinary. Mediation, counseling, support, information, awareness and training: Mesh supports those who act, they come from the sectors of culture, disability, or national education.

Furthermore, the association has a mission of action research in its fields of competence, and is constantly thinking to generate solutions to facilitate disabled access to musical practices. Thus, we develop pilot activities on the territory of the Val d'Oise: Music and Disability Network, the information service of music, the SOS MESH platform resources professionals, etc...
